Why We Built DeltaGen

We weren't just ideal customers; we were high-intent buyers ready to spend.

At our previous startup, we urgently needed a cybersecurity solution. We'd ask the crucial, deal-making technical question—and every time, the Account Executive would freeze, promising to "get back to us with an answer from the engineer next week."

We were busy. We needed answers fast. Instead, we kept waiting — and getting frustrated again and again.

At first, we thought it might just be us. But when we asked fellow startup founders who’d actually had a smooth, fast buying experience, the responses were almost identical. Nine out of ten said they ran into the same “I’ll get back to you” loop while the AE checked with their technical team.

CEO

Rene leads the team behind DeltaGen Virtual SE—the first real-time AI sales engineer that helps reps answer tough questions on live calls. His earlier AI venture, an M&A platform, revealed how deals stall when expertise isn’t instantly available. That insight inspired DeltaGen’s mission: give every seller on-demand technical depth. Before founding DeltaGen, Rene led go-to-market projects at BCG and advised on tech transactions in investment banking. He holds a bachelor’s from Yale and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.

Matus Ondreicka, PhD

Chief AI Scientist

Matus leads DeltaGen's AI research, designing adaptive real-time models that learn from every buyer conversation. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from Charles University in Prague through collaboration with the Max Planck Institute and has published widely on search algorithms and data-driven reasoning. Drawn to DeltaGen by the opportunity to apply frontier LLM capabilities to real-world dealmaking, Matus pushes our technology - and our thinking - to uncover deeper insight, faster.

Michal turns raw AI capability into product teams love. Before DeltaGen, he ran AI product squads at Creative Dock, Central Europe’s largest venture studio, shipping data-driven tools for banks and telecoms. He joined us to tackle the pain he saw everywhere: big decisions made on hunches, not evidence. Michal keeps our roadmap ruthless and our user experience friction-free, so customers act the moment insight lands.

Over five years at BCG, he led pricing, win-loss, and churn-analysis projects for global SaaS firms, and he holds an MBA from London Business School. Alex partners with customers to embed buyer truth into forecasts, playbooks, and renewal calls—so they see impact, not just information.
